Gisa Golpira grew up in Peru and spent her childhood walking in the jungle and climbing trees. There were no roads, electricity or neighbours.
Her mother, a gold prospector, gave Gisa the first gold nugget she ever found to wear around her neck.
The feeling of possessing something precious and untouched remained with her and was the inspiration for her own jewellery practice.
Many of the nuggets are found in South America and are left as they were found, each with endless variations and character.
These ethically sourced gold nuggets are formed naturally over millions of years and are exceptionally rare.
Through erosion, no gold nugget is the same, each is unique in form, structure and light. Each piece comes with a certificate of authentication.
